Well Informed Clients are Satisfied Clients

Involved in complex litigation? Your law firm can benefit from the services of James King, King Law Corporation in San Diego, California. JamesJames King's main objective in representing your firm is to keep your client happy and satisfied with the quality of legal services you provide. James King has worked on a variety of cases, large and small, civil and criminal, state and federal. His service area covers all of California, including San Diego, Orange County, the Silicon Valley, the San Francisco Bay area, and areas outside of California, such as Las Vegas, Nevada and Phoenix, Arizona.

The following are brief explanations of some of the litigation consultation services performed on behalf of your law firm by James King.

Simplifying the Complex - Mr. King is especially adept at taking complex concepts and making them understandable to the average lay person. It is not uncommon, especially in the technical field, to find an attorney who provides excellent representation and litigation services to their client, but is unable to explain the legal process in such a way that the client can understand. Mr. King will handle all aspects of communication with your client, thereby freeing up the litigation attorney so that he or she can do what a trial lawyer does best - litigate. The result will be a client who understands the process and the work involved, which leads to a satisfied client.

Ethical and Billing Issues - Mr. King is a frequent instructor and lecturer on issues of trial advocacy, legal ethics, and attorney fees. As an arbitrator of attorneys fees, he has evaluated over 200 fee disputes. Since Mr. King is aware of both the lawyers' and the clients' views in such matters, he is able to be an effective intermediary in resolving any dispute which may arise. The goal is to have lawyers doing their best and to have both sides feel that the fees paid are reasonable in light of the tasks performed. Friction between attorneys and clients is inevitable in complex cases, which may inevitably involve high fees. Both sides will benefit from having an intermediary help resolve fee disputes. The client will understand the reasons for reasonable fees and become satisfied that they are fair, and both client and attorney can focus on having a successful long term relationship.

Making Clients Comfortable - Many clients naturally feel very defensive around their lawyers. Given the current view of lawyers, many naturally question their lawyers' strategy and/or fees. In some cases the attorneys deserve criticism; in many cases they do not. Mr. King has always been able to explain to the satisfaction of clients what the legal process involves, why their attorney is doing what he or she is doing, and what it will cost and why. Clients will understand that they are receiving high quality legal services at a fair price, and be comfortable with and trusting of their attorneys.

Complex Cases - Complex cases often involve extra "hand-holding" of the client to ensure the clients' satisfaction with the work produced on their behalf. In complex cases, there will inevitably be bills which give the client "sticker shock." Also, there may be a failure to communicate strategies, necessary work projects and the like between the outside law firm and either house counsel or corporate management. Your firm may be doing a superb job for the client, but if you are not able to communicate that, your services will not be appreciated. KingJames King will handle all relations with your client, ensuring that they are well informed, and grateful for the valuable services your firm is providing for them.
